Electromagnetic radiation
One way my life my life would be different would be the fact that communication would be very hard. We wouldn't have cell phones or radio. We most likely would rely on older methods like mail and newspaper. We also wouldn't have microwaves. And if we didn't have microwaves I would probably starve to death if left alone for a few weeks.

Ben Gavin's Passions/Dreams
One of my dreams in life is actually to write a book. Writing and literature have always been strong subjects for me. However, I'm lacking quite a bit in the patience department. It just takes SO LONG to write a book. Another dream of mine would be to a screen writer for movies. I'm pretty sure I could make some block busters.
BLACK HOLES?!
A- Well you have the jets of hot gas, the accretion disk, and the event horizon
B- The gravity of a black hole is so strong that not even the speed of light can escape it. Like in order to escape earths gravitational pull you must be going 11km/s. So if you get to close to a black hole your are plum outta luck unless you have some miracle rocket ship that goes faster then the speed of light.
C- Well it cannot be seen regularly and is very hard to find. We normally find them through the effect they have on stars and gas around them.
D- The radius for a given mass where, if that mass could be compressed to fit within that radius, no known force or degeneracy pressure could stop it from continuing to collapse into a gravitational singularity.
E- Well Mr. Smarty Pants Einstien thought of space and time as a fabric. And black holes are thought of to be rips in the fabric that is space and time.

Two Sides to Every Story
Hmmm....do I believe in the existence of alien beings? Why of course I do. The simple fact is space is way, way, way, to big to only have us in it. I'm not exactly sure if there is life out there that is more intelligent then us, but I'm pretty darn sure that there is life out. The universe is just to big. That is my opinion.
